Welcome to Iyengar Yoga Camp

A Unique Iyengar Yoga Festival Experience in the Heart of the Hampshire Countryside

Iyengar Yoga Festival

2nd to 6th September 2024

A yoga retreat festival with a difference - four days of Iyengar Yoga, gorgeous food (included) and wonderful entertainment in beautiful countryside surroundings. The focus of this annual yoga retreat is to give people an opportunity to deeply connect with the practice of yoga, come together as a community of yoga practitioners, sharing their knowledge and learning from teachers immersed and experienced in Iyengar yoga.

Classes will be conducted by Level 3 Iyengar Yoga teacher and founder of Yoga Camp, Rachel Lovegrove plus her special guest teachers, Hannah Lovegrove, Uday Bhosale and Lin Craddock.

The workshop style sessions will help students of all levels to dive deeper into the practice of Iyengar Yoga, Pranayama and even Vedic Chanting. This is a retreat for serious yoga lovers!

You will also be treated to three evenings of entertainment such as live music, Sound Bath Meditation and an evening of Story Telling around the camp fire. Massage and Reflexology treatments will be available onsite for a deeply relaxing experience.

This year, Iyengar Yoga Camp has moved to the beautiful Fairthorne Manor Park, near Botley, with 95 acres of grounds, modern accommodation and with their own private jetty onto the river Hamble, so bring your paddle board!

There is plenty of space to roam, walk and explore, all within the private areas of the estate. We have a large hall for yoga and the accommodation is light, modern and comfortable with lounge areas to relax in. Meals are served in the dining room, cooked and served by the professional team at Fairthorne. The site is easily accessible from the M27 and the train station at Botley and Botley village itself is only 15 minutes walk away.

Accommodation Options are:

  • Ben’s House: Fairthorne has lovely, bright and modern accommodation in single or twin “bunk” rooms with shared bathrooms or for a premium you can opt for ensuite. There is a lounge area on each wing to relax in with fridge and kettle. Bedding is provided.

  • Tent Village: camping in style with a ready made tent (including beds and mattresses with bedding). The tents are pre-pitched for you on wooden platforms. The camping area has its own lounge area with tea making facilities and a fridge.

  • Bring your own tent, camper van or caravan.

  • Walk-in spaces for those staying offsite at alternative accommodation such as our recommended local b&bs or hotels.

  • Limited number of day tickets available for local students (released one week before).
